Josh Winston2024-25 IDEAS Teaching Fellow

Josh Winston received his BAs in English literature and Film and Media Studies and his MA in English Literature from Georgia State University. He has taught a range of courses on science fiction and film. While pursuing his Ph.D. at Emory as a Centennial Scholar, Josh is focused on how economic, literary, and queer critical theories might be applied to emerging literary genres within the fields of speculative fiction, new media, and film. His broader scholarship encompasses literary and theoretical considerations of urban space, science fiction, queer theory, and experimental literature.
