Ahana NarayananNeuroscience & Behavioral Biology and IDS

Ahana Narayanan is a junior and second year IDEAS fellow from Aurora, Illinois. She is on the pre-medical track studying NBB and IDS, and hopes to pursue an MD/PhD in the future. Ahana's interests are in understanding intergenerational trauma and examining South Asian art through a feminist lens. On campus, she is involved in student advocacy eorts through clubs like Emory's Sexual Assault Peer Advocates (SAPA), and her job at the Asian Student Center. Her favorite part of IDEAS is engaging with interesting speakers, and getting to teach in sidecar courses. In her free time, she is learning how to breakdance, and enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
