Asmita LehtherHuman Health and Political Science

Exploring the intersection of health and law, Asmita Lehther (she/her) is committed to understanding how institutions can both facilitate and hinder health equity. Her interest in healthcare policy has been driven by a desire to address and improve health disparities, especially as they relate to systemic injustice and colonial legacies. Currently, she works as a Policy Analyst for the School Mental Health Initiative and is an organizer with Planned Parenthood. Asmita is dedicated to understanding how we can improve lifestyle outcomes through her education in Human Health, International Studies, Economics, and Religion at Emory.
