Claire is a sophomore from Los Angeles, California majoring in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Religion. She conducts research in the Neural Plasticity Research Lab on motor control and neurorehabilitation and is active in ResLife, Emory Libraries, Remote Area Medical, MEDLIFE, Volunteer Emory, and as a Student Ambassador. Her interests center on the intersection of neuroscience, ethics, and equity, particularly in how we care for people as they age and approach the end of life. In her free time, Claire enjoys reading anything by Joan Didion or Toni Morrison, trying new hobbies like climbing and pickling, and exploring Atlanta’s food scene with friends.
