Robertson Graduate Fellow in Science and Society

The Nat C. Robertson Endowment in Science & Society, in collaboration with the Institute for the Liberal Arts (ILA), requests applications for the year-long graduate student fellowship from September 1, 2024-August 31, 2025.

The awardees, a current LGS Ph.D. student in the natural science and one in either the social sciences or humanities will work with ILA faculty to facilitate a pre-existing course in the Fall. In the Spring, the fellow can develop a new course, team-teach an existing course with an ILA faculty member, or propose a semester-long project with undergraduates that builds on the fellows research interests and integrates the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and arts.  We are particularly interested in creative ideas for facilitating intellectual community across disciplines and across faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
