Elisabeth is a sophomore from Dayton, Ohio. Since coming to Emory, she has discovered her passions for biological anthropology and ethics, and she is interested in studying those subjects in the context of global health and infectious disease. Elisabeth's interest in the intersection of these areas stems from her appreciation for interdisciplinary studies and its importance to the betterment of society. She hopes to one day work in public health, focusing on the legal and business implications of global health policies. Besides IDEAS, Elisabeth is active on campus in multiple health-related organizations and enjoys volunteering at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
