John Wang is a current Junior at Emory University, double majoring in Economics/Mathematics and Quantitative Sciences. His specific academic interests include behavioral economics, group dynamics, and education. He has been a part of the IDEAS Fellowship since his Sophomore year. As part of IDEAS, John has developed an Arts Research Symposium, facilitated story circles, co-selected faculty for ORDER courses, and served as a Teaching Assistant for an integrated biology and dance side-car course. Outside of IDEAS, he is primarily focused on work with Emory’s Data Science Club and Data501, a nonprofit data consulting group. He has also been involved with organizations such as Emory Arts Underground, She’s the First, and Emory International Relations Association. In John’s spare time, he dabbles in dance, plays strategy games, and spends way too much time on Netflix binges.
