Anthony Chau is a junior at Emory College from New York City majoring in psychology and minoring in economics and Chinese Studies. He was drawn to the IDEAS Fellowship because he recognizes the importance of studying society through diverse lenses - through data, art and literature, the nuances of language, political activism - to better understand what it means to be a scholar, a citizen, and more simply, a human being. On campus he is gives tours, spends unconscionable hours every week editing The Emory Wheel, and tutors underserved Atlanta public school students through Emory Reads. He enjoys chess and follows figure skating and gymnastics with alarming enthusiasm.
