Best of Emory

Looking for interesting courses to take during your time at Emory? Want to learn more about interdisciplinary opportunities at Emory? Want to connect with other students and faculty members over a free lunch?

Attend Best of Emory, held during registration in both the spring and the fall.

This conference-style event gives attendees the opportunity to sample a variety of Emory’s best courses through a series of student-led mini-lectures. These mini-lectures, inspired by the speaker’s favorite undergraduate courses at Emory, cover a variety of topics. Courses covered during the past couple of years have included Exporting Mental Health; Black Odyssey, Black Migration; Science and the Nature of Evidence; A User’s Guide to Freud; and Music Cultures of the World.

After the lectures, attendees have the chance to discuss their favorite courses at Emory, learn about new opportunities, and connect with faculty over free catered lunch.
